Hannah set up Cartwheel Recruitment in January 2007. Hannah has an operational background, working within hotel food and beverage management roles throughout London and Hertfordshire, before moving into recruitment.

Hannah’s recruitment career started out in temporary recruitment, where she managed two offices in London for six years, providing casual labour to five star hotels and foodservice sector clients in the city. Transferring her skills to permanent management recruitment, Hannah spent seven years with Chess Partnership, latterly as a board director, she launched and expanded offices they had at the time in the Midlands, North West and Scotland.

Hannah has a strong network within the industry built up over numerous years. This is not least from her experience within management recruitment throughout the UK, but also via gaining The Caterer’s Acorn Award in 2001 and remains an active ambassador.

Hannah supports the industry by sitting on the judging panels for the likes of The Acorn Scholarship, The Catey Awards, The Foodservice Catey Awards and The Hotel Catey’s.

She is also a non-executive director and life patron for Springboard UK, chairs their fundraising committee and was honoured to receive the charity’s Chris Beaumont Special Award in 2015 for her services to the charity.
