Job Description
We are looking for a high skilled venue sales Manager to join the Sales and Marketing team in this stunning Wedding venue in Rugby Warwickshire.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively managing existing accounts but primarily work to bring in revenue in the form of couples for Weddings, with huge a focus and experience of working within Sales and in particular within the Wedding venue market , where your understand of requirements and attention to detail will ensue.
As Venue sales manager your role with involve, speaking with prospective clients, plan and attend menu tastings with the Head chef, compile all of the admin and invoicing for each event and also organise open days and Wedding fayres with the team.
As venue sales Manager your role is key to the operation and in the success increasing of bookings from 100 to 150 weddings on site per year, as a result you will earn commission and be involved with an amazing team, although the Venue sales Manager role is a stand-alone role, there will be opportunity to work and communicate with Personal wedding planner, Head chef and on site Sales admin team.
Degree or similar level qualification desirable
Experience within a Venue sales role & ideally proven management & development skill
Experience in Wedding and events hospitality venues
Previous experience at Venue sales Manager.
Some hands on experience of Events, especially weddings and upselling
Proven track record of success of at least two years in this field
Creative and luxury mindset, with attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple activities
Flexibility, responsiveness, and sense of urgency
Computer literate and experience
Good team player skills
Articulate and confident
Good attention to detail and planning abilities

You will be required to have had two vaccines against Covid 19, be a driver with own car within 20/30 miles from site and be able to support the team over a 5 out of 7 day operation.
