Job Description
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to join the team for this award winning and stunning Wedding Venue in the Heart of the Warwickshire countryside, producing high quality rosette level dishes for up to 120 weddings per year.
As Sous chef You will work closely together with our Head Chef to deliver innovative menus, and to lead the team to deliver smooth, enjoyable service whilst maintaining quality and consistency of all dishes. experience of working in functions and weddings essential

The role of the Sous Chef
You should have a proven and stable background as a Sous chef within a fresh food environment, experience as a Sous chef within a Wedding venue is very key to the success of this role and as Sous chef you will also have knowledge of UK food safety and health & safety requirements.
You should work at consistently high standards, be well presented appearance and excellent communication, you will at times be client facing for both meetings and menu food tastings
You’ need to be passionate about great food and have a genuine desire to learn about our ingredients and suppliers
The Requirements for the Sous Chef
Ideal candidates should have the following attributes:-
Previous experience as a Sous Chef with strong attention to detail.
A great team spirit
A ‘Can do’ attitude
Able to work under pressure
A driver with own car/ transport
Able to work evenings and weekends (based on 45 hours per week contract)
