Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee three of our clients’ key contracts. Each visitor attraction holds busy cafes spaces along with food and beverage kiosks with one location offering additional space for events. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of these sites, managing three General Managers driving excellence in service delivery, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Senior Operations Manager basic salary: £60,000

Senior Operations Manager location: London and Middlesex

Senior Operations Manager key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of three visitor attractions, including cafes and food and beverage kiosks, across London and Middlesex.
  • Drive operational efficiency and excellence, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest experience are consistently maintained.
  • Oversee all aspects of site management, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize performance, enhance profitability, and achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff members.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the client, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Senior Operations Manager requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior operations role, preferably in venues, visitor attractions, retail, or business and industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Flexibility to travel between sites in London and Middlesex as needed.
