Seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to drive new business opportunities across corporate bedrooms, meetings and events, and group bookings.
Sales Manager Basic Salary: £40,000

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local corporate market and a proven track record in hotel sales. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, manage their own diary, and work flexibly, with a strong presence both within the hotel and out in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business opportunities for corporate bedrooms, meetings, events, and groups.
- Proactively identify and target new clients and business opportunities within the local corporate market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event agents, travel managers, and other key stakeholders to maximize revenue and brand presence.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and networking events to promote the hotel’s offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales campaigns, and packages to attract new business.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide regular sales reports and market analysis to the senior management team and national sales team.
- Maintain a visible presence within the hotel to engage with guests, understand their needs, and identify potential upsell opportunities and new corporate business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel sales, with a strong understanding of the local corporate market.
- Demonstrated success in driving new business and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
- Flexible working approach, with the ability to manage your own diary and be on the go, while maintaining a presence within the hotel.
- Results-oriented with a proactive and dynamic attitude.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
