Sales Managers for Luxury Resorts in the Indian Ocean
Our client, a prestigious collection of luxury and innovative hotels and resorts based in the Indian Ocean, is seeking to appoint four global Sales Managers. These positions are pivotal in growing and developing the brand throughout the European leisure market.
Locations:
* Kenya
* Zanzibar
* Maldives
Note: Preference on location can be discussed.
Sales Managers Salary: $4,000 – £6,000 net per month

Sales Managers Key Responsibilities:
* Direct Sales and Reservations: Manage sales and reservations for individual travellers, groups, and travel agents.
* Promotional Activities: Develop and implement promotional activities for the local market.
* Promotion and Advertising: Perform promotion, presentation, and follow-up on special offers and advertising initiatives.
* Trade Inspections: Organise and participate in trade site inspections with detailed follow-up.
* Event Programs: Prepare and layout company and yearly event programs.
* Educational and Press Trips: Develop and layout action plans for educational and press trips.
* Newsletter Content: Prepare content for newsletters.
* Market Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of the competitive market in the local area.
* Sales Meetings: Participate in periodic sales meetings.
* Community Awareness: Maintain awareness of community, business, political, and social factors affecting the company’s financial objectives.
* Sales Calls: Conduct regular sales calls and maintain positive relationships with companies and tour operators.
* Forecasting: Establish and maintain accurate forecasting procedures to adjust and structure costs accordingly.
* Advertising Opportunities: Source advertising opportunities and monitor competitor initiatives.
* Business Plan: Be fully conversant with the sales business plan and objectives.
* Marketing Programs: Be fully conversant with hotel and company marketing programs.
* Site Inspections: Accompany and follow up on site inspections as required.
Sales Manager Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in proactive hotel or resort sales, specifically in B2B sales within European and/or Asian markets.
* Travel: Ability to travel throughout Europe without visa restrictions.
* Team Work: Desire to work alongside multi-cultural teams and proactively expand local markets.
