Seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Manager who will report into the Hotel Director of Sales. You will be driven to succeed, with a bubbly and confident outgoing nature.
Title: Sales Manager
Location: London
Basic Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience plus bonus, employee discounts, healthcare plan, pension and meals on duty
As the Hotel Sales Manager you will:
- Achieve budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximise profitability
- Create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates and increase volume
- Produce weekly & monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyse current/potential market and sales trends
- Coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales are met or exceed established revenue plans.
- Negotiate room blocks, room rates, and hotel services with support from various hotel and head office departments
- Confirm in writing to the client and all affected hotel departments all group requirements via group sales contract, corporate rate agreement
- Ensures that current and prospective client databases are maintained via salesforce and all sales opportunities and activities are recorded in the platform as per company training and SOP
- Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community
- Establish local client base of organizations, associations, agents and commercial businesses
- Conduct hotel tours and entertains qualified potential clients in accordance with the company and property policies
- Participate in sales trips to key feeder markets and attend trade shows to maximize the generation of hotel sales and revenues when required/appropriate for hotel
- Participate in industry and all local community functions representing sales opportunities for the hotel
