Seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to join an events venue in the heart of London.
Sales and Marketing Executive Basic Salary: £32,000 – £35,000
Sales and Marketing Executive Benefits: Flexible working, 27 holidays plus bank holidays, interest free season ticket loan, group pension up to 7% employer contribution and staff discounts.
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Sales and Marketing Executive Overview:
Working with the Events Marketing Manager, you will contribute to the delivery of all aspects of online and offline marketing, advertising and brand management to promote, develop and grow the external commercial conference and event business.
Sales and Marketing Executive Main Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the venue’s social media profiles
- Copywriting of newsletters, website management and brand management.
- Assist in all aspects of marketing, sales and administration, database management and client liaison across all functions within the Meetings & Events facilities in order to meet revenue targets and to achieve overall departmental objectives.
- Assist the venue’s Business Development Manager in implementing pre-agreed direct sales in order to maximise income by generating a robust pipeline of prospective business by re-engaging with past users and new leads to convert.
- Prospect, profile and successfully set appointments and undertake site visits when required.
- Undertake market research, information analysis and to engage with lapsed accounts, regretted and cancelled business to generate new leads.
Please note it is essential you have proven experience of coordinating marketing activity. Covering design, email, social media, direct mail and managing marketing communication plans, as well as copywriting and proofreading. You will also have the willingness and/or experience in supporting the Business Development Manager in some of the proactive sales activities.
