Job Description
Seeking a Sales and Events Manager to lead a team of 3 Sales Executives and 1 Sales Account Manager for a unique venue in the heart of London. You will report into the Head of Sales, Events and Marketing driving the conversion of new business opportunities.
A venue in the heart of London with 27+ meeting and event spaces, roof top terrace and 41 bedrooms. A perfect location for corporate meetings and events, Summer and Christmas parties. This venue offers a wide variety of spaces for their internal members and commercial clients.
Sales and Events Manager basic salary: £40,000 plus 20% bonus
Sales and Events Manager key responsibilities:
- To proactively manage and develop revenue from new business leads
- To coordinate all enquiries generated from email, telephone, online, 3rd party resources and agencies
- Prepare for and carry out show rounds
- Craft captivating proposals and contracts in readiness to hand over to the planning team
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts
- Manage the office proactive sales culture, contacting lapsed clients during need periods.
- To drive sales and the team to drive sales to achieve, monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
- To train, monitor, motivate and develop the sales office team
- To provide updated weekly forecasts, BOB (business on the books) when required
- To manage the Delphi booking and CRM system. Ensuring the team is inputting information to the agreed standards to produce accurate reporting.
- To work towards the annual sales and marketing plan
- To promote the venue and all other venues in the portfolio and raise the company profile by attending company networking events
- To stay fully updated on market trends and conditions
- To undertake regular competitor analysis to ensure an advantage
