About the role:
The Operational Culinary Delivery Lead role offers a unique opportunity to oversee and inspire a dynamic team delivering exceptional culinary experiences at scale.
You will manage operations across six outlets, serving approximately 15,000 meals daily, while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, production, and service. This position involves strategic planning, team leadership, and a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction.
With a team of 400 culinary professionals, you’ll foster a culture of excellence, drive continuous improvement, and deliver memorable dining experiences. Perfect for a proven leader with experience in large-scale culinary operations, this role combines impact, innovation, and leadership.
Operational Culinary Delivery Lead Requirements
- Proven ability to lead and manage catering teams with an inclusive and motivational approach.
- High standards of culinary and catering knowledge, supported by professional chef qualifications.
- Extensive experience in large-scale catering services, ideally in a multi-site and 24/7 operational setting.
- A track record of raising culinary standards through tangible actions, influence, and persuasion.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety in industrial catering, including Food Safety Management (FSM) and HACCP systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging large groups and individual conversations.
- Chef qualified (e.g., City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ Level 2, or Commis Chef Level 2) and Food Safety qualification (with the ability and desire to achieve Food Hygiene Level 4)
