Kitchen Manager- £30,000 to £31,000
We are looking for a Kitchen Manager to head up the kitchen in a successful and growing hotel chain based in the Salisbury area, simple branded Menus that offer consistency and enable the focus of the Kitchen Manager to be centred around, Health and Safety, compliance and staff training.
You will need to be based close to site or be a driver with own car- due to location.

The Kitchen Manager will manage every aspect of the kitchen operation – leading the team, cooking the core company menu, and working closely with the Kitchen team and front of house as required.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Manager with good attitude, whom is used to working within a branded kitchen, so little autonomy on Menu planning etc. A Kitchen Manager who will relish the opportunity to work for a very successful company and have a great work life balance.
Role – Kitchen Manager
As Kitchen Manager you will:
* Prepare and cook the seasonal company branded core menu
* Take full ownership of the kitchen operation
* Motivate, train and develop the team
* Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
* Control labour and manage wastage, the GP, and all costs & budgets
* Order and control stock
* Maintain high standards of service & compliance with company systems & procedures
* Work closely with the front of house team
Attributes – Kitchen Manager
We are looking for:
* Experience gained in high volume fast paced customer facing restaurants/hotels/catering operations
* Passion for cooking and happy to cook core to spec menus
* A positive, enthusiastic and outgoing personality and attitude
* Strong people management skills and the ability to train, motivate and develop your team
* An intrinsic understanding of legislation and compliance
* The ability to control GP’s labour, costs and budgets
