Job Description
Our client, a prestigious collection of luxury and innovative hotels and resorts based in Africa, Asia and Europe, is seeking to appoint a Group Finance Manager. This role will support the Group Finance Director as well as site based Financial Controller.
Group Finance Manager Salary: £70-90k per month

Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Oversight: Assist the Group Director of Finance in managing all financial aspects of our hotel operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to local and corporate policies, management agreements, and loan agreements. Maintain compliance with the Uniform System of Accounts for Hotels and local GAAP.
* ERP System Management: Oversee the maintenance and development of our ERP system to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Cash Management: Prepare consolidated Group Cash Management files, monitor cash flow, and ensure surplus cash is managed effectively.
* Audit and Reporting: Maintain close relations with internal/external auditors, conduct internal audits, and ensure compliance with audit recommendations. Prepare comprehensive monthly and annual financial reports.
* Contract Management: Manage and ensure compliance with all contracts, leases, and agreements.
* Strategic Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation and analysis of capital ROI projects, budget forecasts, and financial strategies to optimize performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in high-volume hotel finance roles.
* Pre-opening experience is a plus.
Required Competencies:
* Proven leadership skills in a hotel/resort finance environment.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
* High integrity and commitment to transparency.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
* Proficiency in financial systems and software (Infor Sunsystems, Q&A, PMS, POS).
