Hospitality Manager- independent Education
As a Hospitality Manager, service will be your focus area ensuring you exceed client expectations. You will thrive on getting the best out of your team and maximising commercial opportunities, alongside the day to day expectations of the school.
Ensuring the delivery of the service is exceptional and reflects that of the highest levels and standards mirrored in any five star hotel. You will be supporting with the overall hospitality and fine dining service requirements which can vary from canapé receptions, fine dining dinners, buffets to lunches for the Board of governors and SLT.
You will be managing and controlling staff levels within this area of the business, supported by the GM and Exec Chef, you will ensure not only the best possible food and service level but also have full budgetary knowledge and that the requirements of these are also met.
As the Hospitality Manager you will recruit, manage, train, motivate and appraise staff to promote good employee relations and a fantastic working environment whilst developing a positive team culture within the school.
As the Hospitality Manager, you will ideally have a successful background in Food Service /Contract Catering/Hospitality/Independent School. With previous experience working in a fast-paced, high service level environment managing a team as well as supporting the catering, hospitality and events. You will have a flexible attitude towards hours and working tasks. You possess excellent management and communication skills, have a good understanding of financial management, and be able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving. You will have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service and be financially and commercially astute.
As Hospitality Manager you will comply with all school, client and company policies, procedures and statutory regulations, including human resources, site rules, health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace.
As Hospitality Manager your key areas will be all on site events within the school calendar and showcase the school and company overall.
Salary for this role based 5/7 is £35,000 to £37,000 plus company benefits
Contracted 40 hours per week
