Job Description
Our client is currently looking for a head pastry chef within a prestigious private members club in the West End, London.
This role has the luxury of :
- Package of £40k
- Working Monday to Friday on alternative weeks; One week 8am-4pm and the following week 1pm-10;30pm.
- Opportunity for overtime.
- As the head pastry chef you will overseeing one pastry cdp chef with an overall team of around 14 chefs.
- Responsible for all pastry menus stock, ordering etc.
- Catering for a busy banqueting& brasserie restaurant and the elegant fine dining restaurant that includes afternoon teas providing traditional British cuisine to a highest standard.
- Bank holidays off, Closed three weeks in August.
- Head pastry chef support and guidance from the head chef.
- straight shifts No doubles
- Meals on duty, 3 times daily, Uniform
- Good private pension
- Opportunities to go on selected courses (the club pay)
You will Be:
Previous head pastry chef experience is not vital as this role may suit a pastry sous chef looking for a new challenge.

- Need to be driven by excellence
- Ideally have NVQ level 1 and 2 in Professional cookery
- Demonstrate great attention to detail
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge
