Culinary Lead – Term Time Only (41 Weeks)

With over 160 sites across Warwickshire and Oxfordshire, predominantly within Primary, some Secondary, and Nursery schools, they are dedicated to providing fresh and nutritious meals while raising food standards in all areas. As they continue to grow, we are excited to introduce the newly created Culinary Lead position to add even more value for their clients.
As Culinary Lead, you will be responsible for:
* Collaborating with the Managing Director and working with teams on menu creation and sourcing seasonal ingredients
* Elevating food presentations and standards across all schools
* Assisting in bidding for new contracts
* Mentoring and developing culinary skills at all levels
* Delivering presentations confidently and accurately
* Managing food costings and margins effectively
* Utilising process and planning to ensure consistent results
Requirements:
* Professional Cookery Level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar Culinary Lead/Head of Food role
* Passion for delivering exceptional food and service
* Strong culinary skills and ability to motivate others
* Experience in training culinary skills
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Financial acumen regarding food costings and margin management
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
