Head Development Chef – Term time only (41 weeks)- £35,000 plus car allowance and company package.

As Head Development Chef you will be a true and passionate foodie, joining this growing contract caterer proficient in Education contracts at the very heart of their business.
With over 160 sites across Warwickshire and Oxfordshire, mostly within Primary schools, some secondary and Nursery’s, this home- grown contract caterer is now reaching new heights and growing patch is seeking this newly created Head Development Chef position to continue to add the value to their clients.
This is a truly unique and exciting opportunity for an energetic individual with a passion of food and learning as the Head Development Chef- you will already have experience of working within Contract Catering and especially Education sites at this level with the key and primary focus on state education and bringing up food standards in all areas.

The Head Development Chef will work alongside the Head of Food supporting on menu creation, locally sourcing seasonal ingredients, working on presentations, bidding for new work, raising standards across the board in the schools.
Head Development Chef will have the following:
Professional Cookery Level 3 qualification or equivalent
Experience working to a similar level of Head Development Chef- Head of food.
Passion for great food and excellent service delivery
Ability to demonstrate outstanding culinary skills
Ability to motivate and develop all levels
Experience in training culinary skills
Ability to deliver presentations to all levels confidently and accurately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
Financially astute with regards to food costings and margin management
Ability to analyse and evaluate information
Experience of using process and planning to deliver consistent result to expectations
Ability to work on own initiative but within a framework
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including; Word, Excel and PowerPoint
