Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Head Chef to work for this national contract catering company. The ideal Head Chef will have a passion for fresh food, an eye for detail that is key to this post. Strong craft skills are essential. Ideally you will have relative background experience. Overseeing a team of 5 chef brigade. This role will suit an existing head chef with staff restaurant experience and a person who is established within cooking for a breakfast and lunch service. The head chef should be aware of current trends and a person who is passionate about delivering grab an go, theme counters along with street foods latest trends.
For the head chef this role is working Monday to Friday 7am-4pm
Head Chef Role Purpose:
*Managing staff.
*Controlling a tight budget.
*Attending training courses, as required
*Stock taking. *Ordering and inducting new staff.
*A proven track record as a Head Chef with the experience of managing the day to day challenges.
*Previous experience providing high quality food service in a Health and Welfare environment.
*Must have excellent cooking skills in both presentation and taste
*You will be an ambassador for customer service ensuring all customer needs are met.
*Ideally you will have been a Head Chef within contract catering in the Blue Chip or in head office style B&I contracts and above all else have the drive to deliver excellence of service.
