Job Title: Group Finance Manager
Group Finance Manager Remuneration:
£60k

Our client, a leading brand operating 20 contemporary hospitality sites in the UK and Europe, are looking to appoint a Group Finance Manager. This is a newly created role which would be suitable for a qualified accountant looking for a step into management, or a move from practice to industry. The company has ambitious growth plans and the Finance Manager will work collaboratively with Operations and Management teams to support this growth.
This new opening in the business would suit an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results-driven with the capability to plan ahead and ensure quality control of your own and the team’s work.
Group Finance Manager Responsibilities:
Statutory Reporting
- Support the Group Financial Controller throughout the audit process.
- Produce UK subsidiary accounts.
- Maintain IFRS 16 Lease Schedules.
- Prepare share options calculations.
- Prepare management fee breakdowns.
Monthly Reporting
- Coordinate the management account process.
- Review journal postings by management accountants.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain the intercompany matrix.
- Manage the fixed asset register.
Policies and Processes
- Assist the Group Financial Controller with process implementation.
Management
- Oversee and manage 3 Management Accountants.
Other Responsibilities
- Address queries from the Operations Team and explore ways to add value.
- Handle ad hoc tasks as they arise.
- Prepare UK VAT returns.
Our client is looking for a qualified accountant with experience in Group Consolidations and IFRS. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must alongside excellent analytical and reconciliation skills. The successful Group Finance Manager will have the ability to work under pressure and organize your and the team’s work to meet priorities and manage stakeholder expectations, and a commitment to meeting tight reporting deadlines.
