We are looking for a talented General Manager to lead a dedicated passionate team at one of the most wonderful Independent Boarding Schools.
You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced multi management catering environment, ideally within this sector at General Manager level.
Key responsibilities of General Manager:
To work well and manage a team across multiple locations
Overseeing breakfast, tuck, lunch service, supper, hospitality and events throughout the school term.
Leading and developing a large team of around 40 staff
Completing company bookwork on weekly basis, plus compilation of reports
Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed to the letter.
You will have the following skills as General Manager:
A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service skills
Excellent client relationship skills
Be Front facing at all times, especially throughout service times.
An all-round team player and leader
An organised General Manager with attention to detail
Sound financial understanding
Multi Location Management (ideally but not essential)
Craft|Chef background (ideally)
