Job Description
Our client, a global leader in Contract Catering is seeking a General Manager to lead a dynamic team at a flagship site with multiple F&B outlets and high-end hospitality in West Berkshire.
Basic salary: £55,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Bonus, weekdays only, 40 hours per week
As General Manager you will have responsibility for all aspects of multi-faceted catering operations. The role is focused on managing effective and lasting client relationships, in a commercial manner, while ensuring the delivery of key financial targets and exceptional service.
General Manager Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the management of a restaurant (200 rising to 1000 covers per day), grab and go, delivered catering and high-end hospitality
- Develop and maintain client relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Nurture talent within the team and support growth and mentoring to ensure improvements are implemented to maximise performance and customer satisfaction
- Management of the contractor’s brand and image
- Provide a commercial approach to the contract, meeting targets and KPI’s
- Manage labour costs above budget to client through policies in place
- Challenge and continually review labour structures and ratios
