Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee a prestigious lifestyle hotel located in Hertfordshire.
General Manager basic salary: £90,000
This upscale lifestyle hotel boasts over 110 beautifully appointed bedrooms, extensive meeting and events rooms, state of the art wellness facilities, and multiple food and beverage outlets.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the seamless operation of all hotel departments.
Your duties will include:
- Providing strategic direction and leadership to achieve operational excellence and financial success.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and administration.
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards to uphold the highest levels of guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
- Cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with guests, vendors, and stakeholders to drive business growth and loyalty.
- Monitoring financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize revenue and control expenses.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
