Director of Outdoor Centres
Remuneration:
£72k
Up to 5% pension contribution

Our client, a charitable foundation, dedicated to empowering London’s youth organizations to ensure young people have the opportunities and skills vital for their success, is looking to employ a Director of Centres.
The Director of Centres is essentially commercially-driven to increase occupancy through 2 outdoors Centres – one in East Sussex and one in Buckinghamshire.
As Director of Outdoor Centres, you must have worked with children before (professionally or voluntarily) and be super passionate about the great outdoors to lead the charge in providing enriching outdoor experiences for children and young people across London. You will oversee operations at both sites, ensuring safety and quality while spearheading site improvements alongside:
- Providing corporate leadership and strategic direction within the Senior Team.
- Leading the Centres team to deliver more outdoor learning opportunities for young Londoners.
- Ensuring high-quality operations at both centres to provide excellent experiences for visitors.
- Managing income and expenditure budgets exceeding £3.5 million annually.
- Leading on safeguarding and health and safety compliance, fostering a culture of safety.
- Directing capital investment in site development to meet strategic goals.
- Supporting fundraising efforts linked to the Centres.
- Reflecting an inclusive culture and promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of work.
