Job Description
This established owner/operated contract catering company are looking to recruit an Operations Director. A newly created position, the emphasis will be on client retention and supporting continued growth within the food service sector.
As Operations Director, you will work closely with the Regional Managing Director. You will take responsibility for a number of key accounts within education catering (independent Education) and a small proportion of B&I. You will be accountable for the leadership and development of one, rising to two Operations Managers.
Due to the locations of the patch, you will ideally reside in the Warwickshire to Oxfordshire area to ensure good coverage, full accountability and balance of time.

* Experienced at Operations Director level within contract catering (or very established Senior Operator)
* A strategist with experience in stepping back from the day to day to focus on special projects and continuous improvement
* Driven by client relationships, quality service and fresh food
* Motivational, with experience in nurturing and developing an established, self-sufficient team of multi-site Operators
* Strong financially with commercial acumen
* Non-corporate in their style with creative flair and eye for detail
This company operate predominantly within the education (independent and state) sector and work with clients where there is a genuine desire to offer its staff an outstanding catering offer. They have many long-standing clients, which are maintained through dedicated relationship management, so retention and relationship bonding will play a very key part of the role.
