Working for one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. A director of Catering is required to join a large team based in the Surrey area.
As Director of Catering you would be joining a team of experienced professionals who tailor their catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages meeting a totally bespoke and high level food and service offer, to each and every school within its profile.

Director of Catering- Job profile:
The essential ingredient at the heart of our business are people, so the requirements of this role and contract are to employ an experienced Director of Catering with a background in exceptional food catering services to join a growing business and work at one of the most prestigious education settings, not only in the Country but also within the company portfolio.
As Director of Catering your primary focus is to work closely with the team and various business partners to develop a great work relationship and together to provide the best customer service.
As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess enthusiasm in the bucket load.
Director of Catering- Requirements:
Have worked in a similar environment at a management level
Knowledge and experience of Independent schools- either by association or by personal education
Have experience in stake holder engagement
Have excellent presentation skills
Be a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their development
Be naturally outgoing and vibrant, display a real passion for food and customer service
Have excellent Health & Safety knowledge
Be financially astute with good understanding of GP calculation and have strong IT literacy
Be innovative and creative and driven by excellence
Stay up to date with current food trends
In addition to a Competitive salary of around £55,000 to £62,000
