This is a fantastic opportunity for a Conference and Events Manager to join a unique Venue in East London.
As Conference and Events Manager, you will lead the operations for an array of small to large events. You will work closely with the client and crews prior to the event. Confirming room layouts and final logistical requirements and walk rounds day prior to the event.
As Conference and Events Manager, you will lead an operational team and manage your own event, which are predominantly Monday to Friday. However, as the set up for these larger events can take days prior to the event actually taking place there will need to be flexibility to work weekends when required. All over time is paid in lieu days.
As Conference and Events Manager, you will want to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling and multi-tasking. Managing the event taking place as well as forward thinking and managing the operational aspects of the events coming up. You will be one of many Conference and Events Managers and will be a buddy with someone to start with until you run your own event.
The Conference and Events Manager will suit someone from a large meetings and events hotel or venue who has supervisory experience, can multi task and has good operational knowledge.
Basic salary up to £35,000
