Location: London, HA3

Salary: Up to £32,000

Working Days: 40 Hours per week, 39 weeks per year

About the role:

Are you passionate about creating delicious, nutritious meals that inspire young minds?

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to lead the catering service at a Jewish Primary School in London (HA3) serving around 620 meals per day.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in catering management, exceptional customer service skills, and experience in direct client interactions. You’ll be responsible for overseeing operations, managing budgets, and providing weekly trading reports to the Operations Manager. Strong leadership and delegation skills are essential, along with a hands-on approach to ensure smooth kitchen operations and daily lunch service.

Our client works with fresh, locally sourced produce, making this role ideal for someone passionate about great food and committed to ensuring that all pupils receive a balanced, nutritious, and freshly prepared lunch each day.

Catering Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Catering Manager, particularly within an education setting.
  • Previous experience in Kosher food is essential
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
  • Passionate about food, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both within the kitchen and with other departments.
  • High-level culinary skills paired with a good understanding of kitchen finances.
  • Ensuring all kitchen due diligence is adhered to.
