An exciting new role has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the sales team within a successful contract caterer.
As Business Development Manager, you will have a background in contract catering sales OR operations. You will have experience in the sales process from start to finish including submitting sales tenders and attending presentations.
As Business Development Manager, you will manage the sales process from prospecting, to tender and successfully winning new business. Working closely with the operations and bid teams to deliver the financial and operational proposals. Assist with arranging events for clients, prospects and consultants and network to create strong and sustainable relationships with potential and current clients.
As Business Development Manager you will have come from either a sales or operational role in Education catering, B&I or Healthcare. Have established contacts with consultants that manage the bid process. Be passionate about food and have the ability to create compelling strategies for a competitive advantage.
This is a national role covering the South East region from Surrey round to Kent. Basic salary up to £60,000 plus bonus and car allowance. Pension scheme, Private healthcare and 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
