A fantastic opportunity for a Bid Writer to join an award winning independent contract caterer in Surrey. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join a friendly and vibrant team of people who are focused, dynamic and leading the highest quality of service in contract catering across the education and business and industry sectors.
Role Summary:
As a proactive self-starter, you will prepare pre-tender qualification (PPQ) documents and co-write and collate persuasive, personalised tender submissions. Your role will involve working closely with the Business Development Managers for guidance and coordinating sales activities with the Telemarketing Manager, Business Development Managers, and clients. It will also be important for you to maintain frequent communication with the Marketing Manager and other external resources that support the business.
A significant part of your role involves writing convincing content that spotlights the benefits of the catering services. Your writing skills will be instrumental in obtaining new contracts and retaining the existing client base. As a vital member of the team, your input will significantly contribute to the company’s growth and the retention of their clients within the Education sector. Furthermore, you will actively participate in evaluating and enhancing bid submissions.
LOCATION:
The role is based in the head office however, they do offer hybrid working if preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary Circa £40,000 p.a. plus commission – There is flexibility on increasing the basic salary for the ideal candidate
Holiday 25 days p.a. plus bank holidays
Pension 4% employer contribution / 4% employee contribution
