Job Title: Executive Chef
Executive Chef Remuneration: £60k
Our client, an innovative and independent Contract Caterer, with a host of high-end contracts, is looking for a dynamic and passionate culinary professional to elevate the dining experience of a B&I site in Central London.
The site is based in a beautiful location, and boasts a modern kitchen, designed for efficiency and creativity, to cater for a staff restaurant and hospitality across 3 floors.
As Executive Chef, you will be the driving force behind culinary operations, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and inspiring a kitchen team of 3 chefs and 1 kitchen porter, including a Head Chef
- Overseeing daily catering for up to 400 potential customers- the current up take is around 100 a day, so there is huge potential to increase this number
- Crafting innovative menus that blend B&I catering with a restaurant-quality experience.
- Engaging with other tenants in the building, to expand hospitality services and catering offer
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling kitchen costs
- Collaborating with the USA owners to implement their vision and investment in the site
The Executive Chef will have a background in both B&I catering and restaurants, and ready to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the kitchen. They will be a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, and motivated to take on new challenges to grow the catering business.
