Job Description
The Back of house operations manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the hotel’s kitchen, back of house areas, and the full kitchen stewards’ team (kitchen porters and night BOH/FOH cleaners) in a 5-star luxury hotel in Windsor area.
Duties and responsibilities
- Overseeing all day operations and activities
- Maintaining a collaborative, efficient and consistent working environment for all staff through effective management
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs

- Ensure that all standards in respect of hygiene & safety are established and maintained by employees
- Conduct regular performance reviews
- Record and report all incidents and accidents, carry out any ad hoc reviews, investigations and disciplinary in line with company policy and procedures

- Carry out regular inspections and ensuring any corrective action is taken
- Nurturing client relationships and ensuring a high client satisfaction level
Key Requirements
- At least 2 years of Back of House operations Manager experience
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting
- Valid UK driving licence
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and build excellent relationships with the client, kitchen porters and other FOH team members
- Being a great team player able to motivate, inspire and lead the team
- Back of house operations Manager experience witihn five star hotel operations or similar.
