We are looking for an Assistant Cost Controller who will assist with the cost side of the business. Our client are leaders in the provision of legendary food and drink experiences. They have a passion for great food and great service, providing warm hospitality, excellent service and flair.
As the Assistant Cost Controller, you will have come from a catering background. You will be joining a small team of four. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
As Assistant Cost Controller, you will support the finance team assisting in maintaining department cost of sales. Liaising with the events team, chefs and operations.
Monitor the stock take processes, uploading data onto Excel, investigating any discrepancies between the actual and theoretical cost, with variance analysis and suggestion for improvements.
Support the location accountant during month end for any cost related matters.
The Assistant Cost controller is a hands on role which will suit someone who is happy being in a fast paced environment.
You will have a lot of support in this role and a fantastic amount of training and development.
Salary – £28,000 – £30,000
